Lightweight Kubernetes for edge sites.
k3s is a lightweight, certified Kubernetes distribution with few dependencies. It also runs on small hardware and suits edge sites and test environments.
We place it in Assess. The approach is interesting for edge sites, but operating, updating and monitoring many small clusters needs a concept of its own. A pilot at a few sites should show whether that works.
