FNT Command
Planning of buildings, cages, racks and cable routes.
FNT Command is strong at planning physical infrastructure: buildings, rooms, cages, racks, cable routes and patching. That pays off in large data centres and campus environments with many cables and allocations.
We place it in Trial because implementation and licensing are demanding. For network and IP data with a focus on automation, NetBox is leaner. The two can be combined.
A good fit if …
- you are planning large physical infrastructure with many cables and buildings
- cable and allocation planning is to be centralised
- a corporate standard for DCIM is in place
Not a good fit if …
- the focus is on network and IP data and automation; in that case, use NetBox
- the data centre is small
